My Story

After being made redundant from my government job and stepping away from the corporate world, I took my lightbulb moment for a stress-free mobile laundry service and turned it into a national brand. As a busy single mum, this journey came with its fair share of challenges. What started as a solo operation on the Gold Coast in 2012 grew into a scalable model in 2016 with the support of a digital grant. But life wasn’t always easy—navigating a divorce and juggling full-time work meant The Laundry Lady became my side hustle for several years.

Business growth and innovation

In 2020, during COVID lockdown, I decided to take the leap and fully commit to scaling the business. Today, I’m proud to lead a Head Office team of ten — most of whom are busy mums themselves — and a network of over 300 Laundry Ladies and Lads in Australia and New Zealand.

My passion for innovation didn’t stop there. As CEO and founder of TimeBoss, an AI-driven platform powering The Laundry Lady, I’ve created scalable solutions for industries like aged care, cleaning services, and pet grooming. TimeBoss helps service-based businesses streamline their operations and grow, just as it did for The Laundry Lady.

With over 25 years of experience across government, not-for-profit organisations, and business development, I’m passionate about empowering women, supporting work-life balance, and fostering entrepreneurship. I remain deeply involved in mentoring programs, Chamber of Commerce networks, and the local business community on the Sunshine Coast
